Very soft steel and easily done holding the key with a pair of pliers with just a few mm sticking out to aid cutting down - You will need to trim a few mm off the overlap as the large spacer washer slightly encroaches into the front woodruff. You could also replace the back key but i wanted to maintain the factory speck there and only adjust for chain-crank sprocket ware.
